  • 18's Black: Rick Moller
  • 16's Black: Dave Parnell & Troy Frystak
  • 16's Red: Joni Glenn & Hannah Olomua Taale

From Rick
This team will be about competing at a high level and forming great habits not just for volleyball but for life. I will keep stats on the team during practices and games to inform how the team performs and plays, players will experience practices that are designed to enable them to succeed and to grow, and the team will be all about being ready for playing at the college level. To that end, I hope to get the team in situations where players are seen by college program recruiters, locally and across the country.

From Dave

I am thrilled for thisopportunity for both NCVBC and myself.  I am eager to continue developing players at the 16s age level. I look forward to having a fantastic season of competition and growth with this team!

NEWS RELEASE FOR 18'S BLACK

North Clackamas VolleyballClub (NCVBC) announces Rick Moller to coach their 18-1 team for the 2016-2017Club Season.

Happy Valley, Ore, ---Rick Moller has been named head coach of the North Clackamas VolleyballClub (NCVBC) 18-1 team. He brings college, high school and club coaching experience to the court. He is currently a volunteer assistant coach at University of Portland. In addition to on-court coaching, Rick is helping manage UP statistical analysis and scouting reports.

Moller received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Washington in 2011 and started coaching with the Washington women's volleyball club as a volunteer position, while also playing for the UW men's club team. In the summer of 2014, Moller coached for the Jim McLaughlin Volleyball Camps at the University of Washington.

In 2013 & 2014 Moller was an assistant coach for both the JV and varsity teams with Bishop Blanchet High School in Seattle, Wash. In 2013 Bishop Blanchet's varsity squad made it to the Washington State tournament, and the JV team won second in the district. He was also 16s assistant coach with the Space Needle Volleyball Club for the 2013-14 and Head 14's coach for the 2014-15 club seasons.

Rick’s NCVBC 18-1 team will compete in CEVA Power League tournaments including regionals in May. To ensure our players have opportunities to improve by playing other competitive teams outside of CEVA, and experience college recruiting opportunities, we also plan to compete at out-of-state national qualifiers and other tournaments. These tournaments may include the Matt Hartner Memorial Classic in Eugene in January; the Las Vegas Classic and the Unsigned Juniors & Seniors Showcase in February; Colorado Crossroads in Denver in March; Pacific NW Qualifier in March; Far Westerns in April.

NCVBC believes Rick will foster a positive environment where teammates compete with each other, forming bonds of trust, while improving form, speed and volleyball IQ, all within the established Gold Medal Squared volleyball system applied by the US National volleyball team
