17's Premier End Season Strong In Seattle and Orlando

Each player on this team has shown greatness at some point this season and when it all came together at various times this year, the team really showcased what they were capable of. When each girl realizes that the great individual play thatg came at times is possible all the time, the consistency will follow, this is the difference between this year and next. We competed at the 18's level this year and competed well...ending 17th in the region and among the top 5 for 17's teams. We finished tied for 5th in Seattle in the Gold bracket of the 18's Club division. We had three 3rd place finishes, a 2nd place and a 1st place in tournaments this year, I'd say that makes for a pretty good year! As each player challenges old habits with new skills and builds confidence in those new skills, these gals will be dangerous this fall and next year as they will no longer be the youngest in their age division.
It was a fun year! I thank the parents, players, and all who supported this team through rocky roads and smooth sailing times. It has been fun and I look forward to seeing each of your successes in the fall!
Thanks to Doug Kocher! Thanks to Connie for Orlando and Nels Norquist as well!
