Problems at Verne Duncan During Practices

...they came in to find the welcome board that they have in the entryway with most of the message erased except for some choice swear words.
We don't believe it is the players obviously, but know that the siblings that are there during practices are often unsupervised. The principal came in a week or so ago to find 6 or 7 boys bouncing balls off the window in the entryway. The custodian had just spent a considerable amount of time cleaning the many windows in the entryway only to have to redo them the next day because of ball marks. They have found trash dropped on the floor in the cafeteria (our group shouldn't be in the cafeteria). One night that those boys were running throughout the entryway it didn't even appear that they had parents there. That they were dropped off with their older sister who was practicing. The mom came at the end of the practice and picked them up.
This is a beautiful gym and if we lose the opportunity to use it, we really do not have a 2nd option. All the other gyms in the Clackamas area are being used by about 200 different basketball teams. Please help police the entryway and areas outside the gym at Verne Duncan. If you see siblings that should not be there, ask them to go sit with their parents. If you are bringing your volleyball players brothers and sisters, please SUPERVISE THEM. Do not let them run around the school.
