NCVBC 16 Black traveled to Newberg for a tourney on Sunday, January 31st.  After going undefeated in pool play the team played in the semi's against a team from Siuslaw and won 25-19, 25-13.  Hood River Valley was our opponent for the championship. 

They played some great defense but ours was just as strong and our offense was better. Our 16's Black team came out on top with a score of 25-13, 25-19.  Morgan Schwab had a great day blocking.  She made some key stops at the net during some important points.  Kiana Miller served tough the entire day and had a strong showing offensively.  Sydney Wilson played strong defense and was tough on serve receive. Kasey Toedtmeier had some great hits to add to our strong showing offensively. These athletes just keep getting better! I'm excited to see how they perform during power league.
